01
Adirondack Tree Experts has been the Washington Metropolitan area's trusted choice for professional tree removal for 30 years. From hazardous storm-damaged specimens to large-scale removal of trees near structures, our crews combine heavy equipment with precision rigging to protect your property at every step.
Every removal is planned and executed by licensed professionals. We have been selected by Howard County Government to remove a 300-year-old dead Elm Tree — a testament to the trust public agencies place in our capabilities and safety record.
02
Our ISA Certified Arborists assess each tree's structure before any cut is made. Crown reduction and trimming services are performed to industry-standard pruning protocols — improving tree health, reducing wind resistance, and eliminating contact with structures or utility lines.
With 10 ISA Certified Arborists and 17 Maryland Licensed Tree Experts on staff, every trimming engagement is backed by formal arboricultural training. We serve the Washington DC Metro Area and take compliance with ANSI A300 pruning standards seriously.
03
After a tree is removed, the remaining stump is a hazard and an eyesore. Adirondack Tree Experts offers complete stump grinding and removal, reducing stumps below grade so your lawn can be seeded and restored to full use. Our equipment handles stumps of all diameters — from ornamental trees to mature hardwoods.
Stump grinding is available as a standalone service or bundled with our tree removal package. We clear all grindings and leave the site clean. Our crew members are certified in safety procedures to ensure the work is completed without damage to surrounding areas.
04
Storms, wind events, and sudden tree failures do not keep business hours. Adirondack Tree Experts deploys emergency response crews for fallen and hazardous trees threatening structures, driveways, and power lines across the Washington DC Metro Area. Our fleet and crew are staged and ready.
All crew members are Registered Traffic Flaggers by the American Traffic Safety Services Association, and every member of our staff is certified by the American Red Cross in CPR, First Aid, and AED use. When it matters most, we arrive prepared.
05
Adirondack Tree Experts employs Licensed Pesticide Applicators in Maryland and DC, providing evidence-based treatments for insect infestations, fungal disease, and nutrient deficiencies. Our ISA Qualified Tree Risk Assessors evaluate structural soundness and recommend interventions grounded in science, not guesswork.
We also have 2 ISA Qualified Tree Risk Assessors on staff, able to produce formal risk assessment reports for municipalities, insurers, and property owners. Maintaining the health of your trees is always less expensive than removing them.

From site preparation for new construction to systematic deadwood removal in established landscapes, Adirondack Tree Experts deploys a full fleet — including crane service — to handle large-scale clearing efficiently. Our team of 16 TCIA EHAP Tree Care Workers are trained in the safe operation of all equipment used on your site.
Deadwood removal is critical for both tree health and site safety. Hanging or dead branches pose a falling hazard and serve as entry points for wood-boring insects. Our arborists assess each tree and remove only what needs to go, preserving the canopy where it benefits the property.
We are one of only 12 TCIA Accredited companies in the State of Maryland. Every signal below is a documented credential — not a marketing badge.
