Our Story

Built From the Ground Up, One Job at a Time

Adirondack was formed in June of 1994 by John & Felicia Anna with a 1978 Ford F-350 and two old chainsaws being the only company assets. During the past 30 years Adirondack has grown significantly to become one of the largest tree care and removal companies in the Washington Metropolitan area.

We are one of only 12 TCIA Accredited companies in the State of Maryland. In addition, we employ 10 I.S.A. Certified Arborists, 17 Maryland Licensed Tree Experts, 2 TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professionals, 16 TCIA EHAP Tree Care Workers and 2 I.S.A. Qualified Tree Risk Assessors. Every member of our staff is certified by the American Red Cross in CPR, First Aid and AED use and all crew members are Registered Traffic Flaggers by the American Traffic Safety Services Association.
